Danilu began her career as an in house PCA and Agronomist, growing cotton and tomatoes for JG Boswell Co. in the Central Valley. Danilu then took on an all new challenge, managing Strawberry Production for Driscoll's Berries in Santa Maria. In 2012 she went on to specialize in Irrigation Management at RDO Equipment Co. and also started consulting on Ag Order Compliance. Danilu has gained a variety of knowledge from working in in various fields. Her passion for agriculture is what propels her career.
Danilu graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a B.S. Degree in Crop Science. Danilu returned to Cal Poly to complete the Professionals Series in BioResource and Ag Engineering. Danilu remains connected to campus through her Crop Science professors and enjoys being a guest lecturer from time to time. Danilu is proud to attend several Industry Nights on campus and be a guest speaker for Crops Club and Latinos in Ag. Go Mustangs!
Danilu was born and raised in Imperial Valley, California. Her great grandfather, grandfather, and father all proudly farmed from Merced to Huron to Holtville. Danilu enjoyed her time as an FFA officer and loves to help out at FFA events like the Annual Judging at Cal Poly.
Danilu volunteers for the Little Bellas SLO Mountain Bike Program. She enjoys being a mentor and watching confidence grow among the young riders (7-13 yr girls). Mission: The Little Bellas is a mountain bike organization, whose goal is to help young women reach their fullest potential. You can catch Danilu on her mountain bike enjoying trails with her husband and two blue heelers.
Danilu serves on the local San Luis Obispo County Farm Bureau Executive Board as Treasurer. She is actively involved in Farm Bureau events, fundraisers and most of all outreach regarding Ag Order 4.0.
